Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Psychiatry to join the Adolescent Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute adult mental health and demonstrate strong de-escalation skills. You will be responsible for providing psychiatric care to patients with various mental health disorders, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric nursing care to patients with thought disorders, psychotic features, and personality disorders.
- Implement de-escalation techniques as necessary to maintain a safe environment.
- Monitor patient behavior and progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
Required Experience
A minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric nursing is required.
Certifications / Licensure
Current Registered Nurse license required.
