Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the context of the nursing process. The incumbent is accountable for individualized patient outcomes over the entire episode of care, providing comprehensive nursing services including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, along with their families and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems.
• Provide optimal patient care through comprehensive assessment and planning.
• Coordinate care with other professionals as needed.
• Address cognitive and psychosocial needs specific to the patient population.
• Engage family or caregivers in the care process when possible.

Required Experience

• 2+ years of Med Surg/Tele experience required.
• Prior travel experience is required.

Certifications / Licensure

• NV RN license required prior to start.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam, including identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips.
