Job Description

The Registered Nurse - Telemetry T8 will provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care. The incumbent will demonstrate knowledge of cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to patient changes.

Responsibilities

• Provide optimal patient care utilizing nursing knowledge and skills.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, taking appropriate action as necessary.
• Respond to changes in patient status, including those with common diagnoses such as CHF, AKI, COPD, CVA, and ETOH.
• Coordinate care and collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.

Required Experience

A minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient telemetry or progressive care unit experience is required.

Certifications / Licensure

• NV RN license required prior to start.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required.
• NIHSS (APEX) certification required.
