Night shift from 19:00 to 07:30, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week and weekend hours every other week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Level 2 ICU team. The nurse will provide care in a dynamic environment that includes open-heart program, Cath lab, neuro-surgery, and CRRT programs. Our unit services a range of critical cases, focusing on patients recovering from open-heart surgery, heart failure, respiratory failure, trauma, stroke, and septic shock.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in a 24-bed Unit.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement care plans.
• Monitor patients using advanced equipment such as EVDs, bolt monitoring, and CRRT systems.
• Administer medications and manage patient care protocols effectively.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or similar ICU setting is required.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
