Job Description
The Emergency Department (ED) is seeking skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide high-quality care to patients of all ages including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Nurses will care for a diverse range of patient diagnoses such as Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, Myocardial Infarction (MI), Cardiac Arrest, and Respiratory Failure. Expected duties include providing clinical care to all assigned patients, with some involvement in Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) cases, while utilizing specialized equipment like Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in the ED for a wide variety of emergency conditions.
- Cater to patients across multiple age groups, ensuring personalized and compassionate care.
- Administer and monitor required drips and medications, including pressors such as Levophed, Neo, and Epi, among others.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department with documented travel experience.
Certifications / Licensure
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications are required.
- Active New York RN License with verification through NURSYS report.
