Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction. Responsibilities include delegating and guiding therapy services, designing functional treatment programs to aid community reintegration, and serving as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and oneself. The therapist is also tasked with maintaining compliance with organizational standards and demonstrating commitment to patient and employee safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans to progress patients toward discharge.
• Document medical records accurately and according to regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in student education, providing supervision and feedback.
• Actively pursue professional development through education and professional activities.
• Maintain professional licensure and adhere to ethical standards.

Required Experience

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR Certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure.
