Night shift: 19:00 - 07:00; Day shift: 07:00 - 19:00. Every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Medical Surgical unit. The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and will be responsible for a variety of tasks in acute care, ensuring patients receive high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support in daily activities.
• Monitor vital signs, perform pain assessments, and document changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Assist with wound care and other basic nursing procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient status.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while adhering to isolation precautions.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience within the last 2 years is required.

Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York Single State LPN license required.
• BLS certification required.
