Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Level II Trauma Center. This position involves caring for a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include managing same-day surgeries, inpatient admissions, and observation patients. The Registered Nurse will follow ASPAN standards while providing pre- and post-operative care and assisting with various types of surgeries such as vascular, orthopedic, gynecology, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative care to patients.
• Manage patient admissions and discharges efficiently.
• Assist with various surgical procedures in coordination with the surgical team.
• Ensure adherence to ASPAN standards in patient care.
• Monitor and document patient outcomes and changes in condition.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience is required, preferably in a trauma or surgical environment.

Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
