Job Description

The Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to patient needs and physician direction. This role includes delegating and directing all therapy services, designing functional treatment programs for effective community reintegration, and educating patients, families, students, and coworkers. Adhering to professional standards and the organization's Mission Statement and Core Values is essential. The position emphasizes patient and employee safety, requiring compliance with safety protocols and workplace hazard reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop treatment plans and discharge goals.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to address discharge barriers.
• Effectively manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions.
• Document care clearly and accurately in compliance with policies.
• Provide care under valid physician orders and within insurance approval.
• Participate in student program assignments, offering supervision and evaluations.
• Engage in professional advocacy and community activities.
• Maintain professional licensure and adhere to ethical standards.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy.

Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid and current State license as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
