Job Description

Join a general Neurology practice focused on treating patients with a variety of neurological illnesses, including TBI, stroke, CVA, and substance abuse. As an RN in this role, you will be responsible for managing Epic nurse in-boxes and work queues, triaging and responding to patient phone calls and MyChart messages, processing medication refill requests, and coordinating lab and imaging orders. You will also support high acuity neurology patients, manage infusion-related coordination, ensure accurate clinical documentation, and assist in maintaining patient safety and continuity of care.

Responsibilities

• Manage Epic nurse in-boxes and work queues
• Triage and respond to patient phone calls and MyChart messages
• Process medication refill requests and route for provider signature
• Manage and coordinate lab and imaging orders and results
• Support high acuity neurology patients, including infusion-related coordination
• Transcribe and document voicemail messages into Epic
• Process inbound clinical faxes requiring provider review or signature
• Abstract and enter labs such as genetic testing
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Perform additional duties as within the scope of a Registered Nurse

Required Experience

A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience is required. First-timers are accepted.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification
• WA or Compact RN license is required
