Shift: Days with some on-call coverage on nights and weekends

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specialized in PACU to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior PACU experience and will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide monitoring and care for patients recovering from surgery in the PACU.
• Administer medications and manage pain according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe recovery for all patients.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health records.
• Respond to emergency situations as required and provide support as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with prior PACU experience preferred.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
