M-F with rotational weekends, 9a-7:30p. On-call required for weekends and holidays.

Job Description

The Echo Tech will perform cardiac ultrasound tests, including stress echoes and transesophageal echoes, adhering to the standards set by the American Society of Echocardiography and ICAEL. The role involves demonstration of comprehensive knowledge of cardiac ultrasound techniques and digital ultrasound equipment usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasound tests following established standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac ultrasound and digital ultrasound equipment.
• Complete daily scheduled tests within the appropriate timeframes for specific patient populations.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide clear explanations of the processes.
• Effectively navigate through electronic medical records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• EPIC experience required.
• Certifications: BLS, and must be registered through either ARDMS orCCI.
