Schedule

Mid 4x10-Hour Shift (13:00 - 23:30), with call required for 6 shifts in each 8-week time block, including weekends and holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team, focusing on various surgical specialties. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in a range of surgical procedures and be well-versed in Aseptic Technique and the decontamination and sterilization processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various surgical procedures including General OR, Laparoscopic, and Robotics surgeries.
• Maintain sterile field and support surgical team through effective communication and assistance.
• Prepare and handle surgical instruments, ensuring they are sterile and functioning correctly.
• Participate in pre-operative planning and instrumentation to support various surgical procedures.
• Adhere to Universal Protocol and safety regulations within the operating room.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in surgical technology is preferred.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system strongly preferred.
• New York State license is required for submission.
