ICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 20-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, with every 3rd weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in an intensive care setting and be adept at managing complex patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and patient conditions to detect any changes.
• Utilize specialized equipment necessary for patient care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Assist with procedures such as chest tube insertion and managing ventilators.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Current RN License in MD or Compact State.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
