RN - Stepdown Unit (HVT)

3x12-Hour shifts; Day (07:00 - 19:30) and Night (19:00 - 07:30) with rotating shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated RN for our Stepdown Unit at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience in a stepdown unit and be prepared to potentially float to other units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a stepdown unit environment.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Participate in patient education and support activities.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using electronic charting systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 12 months of permanent RN experience in a stepdown specialty.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license at the time of submission.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Travelers must have one reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty.
