Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

6 x 12-hour shifts, totaling 72 hours in a two-week period, with every 3rd weekend off.

Job Description

A critical access hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Room. Candidates must possess a valid Hawaii Nursing License by the start of the assignment. The RN will work across various areas including the ER, Acute, and Long-Term Care (LTC) settings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Emergency Room, Acute care, and LTC settings as assigned.
• Administer medications and perform necessary procedures for acute and LTC patients.
• Act as backup for the acute and LTC areas if the ER is not busy.
• Ensure compliance with facility regulations, including non-latex protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of two years of experience in an Emergency Department.
• A valid State of Hawaii Nursing License is required before the start of the assignment.
