Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position

Shift: 7A - 3:30P (Every other weekend required)

Job Description

Join our team as an Occupational Therapist in a brand new 41-bed inpatient facility. You will be working in a dynamic environment focused on rehabilitation services, where your expertise will directly enhance patient care and recovery. This role requires passionate therapists dedicated to improving patients' quality of life through effective assessments and personalized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Deliver hands-on therapy sessions targeting activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
• Maintain progress documentation and track time/charges for therapy sessions.
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary rehab team.
• Utilize a variety of therapy equipment including ESTIM and patient lifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care Occupational Therapy experience.
• Active Kansas occupational therapy licensure.
• BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Setting.
• Lymphedema Certification and Neuro certification/experience are a plus.
