Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic unit. This position focuses on providing quality care to patients undergoing joint replacements and fracture repairs, as well as managing spinal injuries. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate compassion and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to orthopedic patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing changes to care plans as necessary.
• Assist with procedures for joint replacements, fracture repairs, and spinal injury management.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1-year current acute care experience in Med/Surg/Orthopedic settings.
• Active BLS certification; ACLS and Chemo Certification preferred.
• Willingness to float between units as needed.
