Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join our CVOR unit. The ideal candidate will have strong surgical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The position involves assisting in various surgical procedures and ensuring that the operating room is sterile and equipped.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Prepare and pass instruments to surgeons and surgical assistants.
• Assist in cleaning and restocking the operating room post-surgery.
• Collaborate with nursing and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of hospital experience, specifically in a CVOR setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• CST certification from NNSTSA or NCCT required.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system is preferred.

Dress Code

• Navy blue scrubs are required.
• No artificial nails, gel, or next-gen styles allowed.
• Hair must be neat and pulled back if shoulder length or longer.
• Tattoos and body art should be covered whenever possible.
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.
