Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in our Labor and Delivery unit, serving as a critical member of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during and after labor.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and Cesarean sections.
• Perform procedures such as dilation and curettage (D&C) and cerclage placement.
• Provide immediate newborn care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care using Cerner EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• High-risk obstetrics experience is required.
• NRP and BLS/ALS certifications are required.
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification is required.
