Job Description

The Emergency Department (ED) is a fast-paced environment focused on providing immediate care to patients with urgent medical needs. This unit supports a variety of cases, primarily managing low acuity patients while ensuring high-quality care and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and documentation of patient conditions
• Administer medications and provide wound care
• Perform splinting and IV placement
• Collect urine samples and conduct lab draws
• Care for patients with ESI levels 1 through 5

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Prior experience in an emergency department, with a preference for candidates having over two years of relevant experience
• Current RN license
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC or PALS
• Preferred certifications: CEN or TCRN, CPI
