Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical care skills and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and assist with invasive line placements.
• Manage ventilator settings and care for patients with complex cardiopulmonary needs.
• Provide support to family members and communicate patient progress effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have 2 years of critical care experience, specifically in adult ICU, CVICU, or Neuro ICU.
• Proficient in ventilator management, arterial line, central line, and chest tube management.
• Current RN license and BLS certification required; CCRN certification preferred.
• Experience with Meditech EMR is a plus.
