Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency assessments and administer appropriate nursing care.
• Perform cardioversion and central line placements.
• Manage cardiac arrests and implement code protocols (Stroke and Sepsis).
• Conduct IV insertions and EKGs, along with standard ER procedures.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and ensure patient-centered care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Virginia.
• Certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI.
• Strong IV skills in both adult and pediatric populations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Preferred: Trauma experience, TNCC, and Meditech experience.
