Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

This position offers a 7A to 7:30P shift schedule, with potential for 48 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. Candidates must have prior travel experience and be comfortable providing care across various ICU settings, including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience floating among different units and possess the ability to manage critically ill patients effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients in diverse critical care environments.
• Float to different ICU units as needed based on patient care requirements.
• Manage patient assessments, develop care plans, and administer medications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform competency tests as part of the submission process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in a level I trauma center highly preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience is required.
• Must be proficient in critical care nursing and comfortable managing ICU patients.
