Shift: 6A - 2:30P (Variable call schedule; every other weekend and holidays in rotation)

Job Description

The CVOR Registered Nurse will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CVOR settings and will be expected to demonstrate flexibility and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in the CVOR setting.
• Assist in a variety of cardiovascular procedures including CABG and valve replacements.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Work collaboratively with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Utilize EMR (Meditech) systems for documentation and patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of Florida.
• 5+ years of CVOR experience mandatory.
• Prior Main OR experience and willingness to float to Main OR.
• Ability to scrub preferred.
