Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and flexible CVOR RN to join our dynamic surgical team. The unit consists of 2 operating room suites and requires a dedicated professional to provide exceptional patient care during various cardiac surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for individuals undergoing surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with a team of 3 RNs and 3 CSTs during surgeries, ensuring a high standard of care and patient safety.
• Monitor patient vital signs and coordinate post-operative care.
• Utilize EMR Meditech for patient documentation and management.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License in the state of Virginia.
• ACLS and BLS certification.
• Previous CVOR experience is mandatory.
• Scrubbing experience is preferred.
