Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) - Adolescent Female Unit

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

The Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adolescent females in a psychiatric setting. The RN will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver medication management and therapeutic activities. This position may require the RN to float within the facility based on patient care needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and conducting therapeutic interventions.
• Engage in crisis stabilization and group therapeutic activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including mental health workers and therapists.
• Ensure safe and effective patient care practices.
• Document patient care accurately in the charting system (Sunrise).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of behavioral health nursing experience required.
• BCLS certification required.
• Current and valid RN license required (must be permanent, not temporary).
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Experience with Sunrise EMR is strongly preferred.
