Day shift, 4x10 hours (06:30 - 17:00). Call shifts are expected at least 10 times per month.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgical Technologist to provide support in cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and managing surgical instruments. Candidates must be flexible and prepared to float between general operating rooms as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with various cardiothoracic surgical procedures including CABG, AVR, AAA, and MVR.
• Maintain a sterile field and manage surgical instruments and supplies.
• Provide support during cases with a daily average surgical volume of 55.
• Participate in at least 1-2 weekends per month.
• Be available for at least 10 call shifts per month.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cardiothoracic Surgical Technologist.
• Current BLS certification.
• WA State license and NBSTSA certification preferred.
• Experience with general, cardiovascular/thoracic, and laparoscopic surgical techniques is required.
