Registered Nurse - Invasive Cardiology

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are from 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, and 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM. Holidays and on-call shifts to be assigned by unit rotation.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Invasive Cardiology department, you will care for critically ill patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab undergoing Interventional Cardiology and Endovascular procedures. You will be responsible for managing STEMI calls with a 30-minute response time, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for critically ill patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Administer preoperative and postoperative care.
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide sedation as necessary.
• Utilize advanced hemodynamic monitoring techniques, including IABP and IMPELLA.
• Manage ventilator settings and patient respiratory needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have prior Cath Lab experience.
• Valid RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association only.
