Multimodality Technician (CT/X-Ray)

Shift: 3X12s from 7PM to 7:30AM with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Multimodality Technician provides quality imaging and patient care within the X-ray and CT modalities. The technician will be responsible for effectively explaining procedures to patients and ensuring they are competent in the procedures performed. This role requires producing images for the interpretation and/or requests of licensed practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality imaging services in both X-ray and CT scans.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
• Produce and assess images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
• Possibly float to West Ashley FSED or Kiawah as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
• Must hold certifications in Radiography (ARRT) (R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT) (CT).
• Current SCRQSA certification and BLS required.
• Experience with adult inpatient and emergency patient care.
• Preferred experience in Level I/Level II Trauma, pediatrics, and orthopedic exams.
