6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, must be willing to work holidays; 1 call shift in an 8-week block required and every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients with cardiac conditions in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring effective telemetry and medical-surgical nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care plans.
• Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor cardiac rhythm and vital signs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of telemetry and acute inpatient medical-surgical experience.
• Experience in Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) preferred.
