Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Alaska RN license and have a strong background in labor and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients during labor and delivery, including high-risk antepartum cases.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs during labor.
• Assist with various procedures such as cesarean sections, cervical cerclage, and D&C.
• Educate and support patients and families regarding the birthing process and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in triage and manage multiple patients during peak times.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Alaska RN License (must have license in hand for auto offer).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRP.
• Previous charge experience preferred or willingness to train as charge nurse.
