Night shift: 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced L&D RN - Charge Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in charge nursing within a Maternal and Child Health environment. This role will involve overseeing nursing staff while providing care to high-risk patients and supporting labor and delivery operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and daily operations within the L&D unit.
• Manage high-risk labor and delivery cases.
• Conduct assessments and provide care during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in patient education and support regarding lactation and newborn care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Alaska (must have license in hand for Auto Offer).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Charge Nurse experience preferred or willingness to train as charge.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRP.
