Cath Lab Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (06:30 - 17:00). Weekends may exceed every other to meet unit needs. Must be open to working 3 of the 5 major holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various radiological procedures, particularly within the Interventional Radiology (IR) setting. Strong knowledge and experience in catheter-based and vascular interventions are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including but not limited to angioplasty, stent placement, and embolization.
• Assist with the preparation and administration of contrast media and medications.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with the medical team to provide optimal patient care.
• Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory requirements, including patient documentation and charting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of charge experience in a Cath Lab or similar environment.
• Valid California Radiologic Technologist license required.
• Must have certifications: ACLS, BLS, and either ARRT or CCI RCIS.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
