Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 48 hours per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will deliver patient care in the Medical Telemetry and Intermediate Care (IMC) units. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and managing ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient status and care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in Medical Telemetry and IMC.
• Current RN license in the State of Maine.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with ventilators and tracheostomies is required.
