Weekend hours: Saturday Day scheduled every other weekend. Weekend call requirements: Every other Weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to support our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for MFT1 Cardiac Cath, EP, TAVR procedures. The role involves floating to Main PACU as necessary, providing pre-operative and post-operative patient care in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients in pre-operative and post-operative phases.
• Care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures, including TEE/CV and catheterization.
• Manage intravenous lines, cardiac drips, and telemetry monitoring.
• Ensure efficient groin management and EKG interpretation.
• Provide Phase 1 care with a patient ratio of 2:1.
• Adhere to trauma level 1 care standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 3 years of PACU experience with recent ICU experience required.
• Must be able to read tele strips and manage patients on cardiac drips.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Completion of online education modules and unit-specific orientation based on needs.
