Shift: 11a-7p with rotating weekend on-call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) settings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will possess the ability to manage multiple patients effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery.
• Assist with cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of hospital or specialty experience in CVOR.
• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses are not accepted).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Heart transplant experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with intra-aortic balloon pumps and peripheral vascular procedures is a plus.
