Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day 5x8-Hour Shift (07:00 - 15:30), Floating Required as per Facility Needs. Guaranteed 40 Hours per week with weekend requirements of every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) who can utilize strong critical-thinking skills and adapt to available resources. The role involves applying a comprehensive clinical approach across a variety of responsibilities within the operating room.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room environment.
• Conduct telemetry assessments and interpret cardiac rhythms as required.
• Assist with various orthopedic surgical procedures, demonstrating strong knowledge and experience.
• Document and maintain patient records using the facility's charting system.
• Participate in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required, specifically strong orthopedic experience.
• Active NY State RN license required (Compact licenses accepted if applied for).
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are mandatory.
• Telemetry certification (will be assessed on-site during orientation).
