Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Float Pool. The ideal candidate will have recent ICU experience within the last year,21, and be proficient in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. This position requires the ability to float between various critical care units, ensuring high-quality patient care is maintained across all environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care in critical care settings, including MICU, Burn ICU, Neuro ICU, Trauma ICU, and CVICU.
• Float to various critical care units as required to meet facility needs.
• Demonstrate skills in vent management, IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation.
• Interpret telemetry readings and manage dysrhythmias effectively.
• Administer medications and blood products as per protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have 3 years of critical care experience, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Current BCLS and ACLS certifications are required; TNCC is preferred.
• Proficiency in Epic charting system is essential.
• Must have strong Neuro ICU and at least one additional ICU specialty experience.
• Recent ICU experience within the last year is mandatory.
