Labor and Delivery Nurse/Nursery Nurse

Schedule

7 PM - 7 AM, five days a week, with weekend shifts included.

Job Description

As a Labor and Delivery Nurse/Nursery Nurse, you will provide exceptional care in the Obstetric and Nursery units. Your responsibilities will include floating between the Labor and Delivery (L&D) and Nursery departments as necessary. The OB unit has low volume with less than 15 deliveries per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in Labor and Delivery and the Nursery.
• Conduct assessments and monitor patients during labor and delivery.
• Assist with delivery and provide immediate care to newborns.
• Administer medications and perform necessary interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Labor and Delivery and Nursery care.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate fetal monitoring or above.
• STABLE certification for nursery care is required.
