Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse

Schedule

This position offers a day shift schedule of 5 x 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities including 1 evening a week and every 4th weekend from Friday 4 PM to Monday 7 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse with experience in cardiac catheterization. This role involves providing specialized care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform circulating and monitoring duties during cardiac procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor patients' vital signs and response to treatments.
• Operate and manage advanced cardiac equipment such as Balloon Pumps, Impellas, Shockwave, and Rotablators.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• PA or compact nursing license must be in hand at the time of submission.
• First-time travelers are welcome with at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
