Registered Nurse - IMC Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Weekends required. Float may be necessary.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC). The ideal candidate will have previous travel experience and be comfortable managing a patient ratio of 1:4. Experience in various patient care areas and familiarity with the Epic charting system is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to IMC patients.
• Utilize the Epic charting system for documentation and patient management.
• Monitor patient vitals and manage medications, including cardiac drips.
• Perform advanced nursing skills including central line care and tracheostomy management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license (state or compact) required at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with charge experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with cardiac telemetry and care of ventilated patients is advantageous.
• Must complete required training modules on-site during orientation.
