Neuro ICU Registered Nurse

Schedule

Night 3x12-Hour shift (19:00 - 07:00) with weekends required.

Job Description

We are seeking a Neuro ICU Registered Nurse with experience in neuro care to deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Neuro ICU. The ideal candidate will have prior travel experience and be fully certified with ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. This role will involve floating as needed to ICU, IMC, and Tele units.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients with neurological conditions.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and neurological status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Manage care for ventilated patients and ICP monitoring.
• Utilize advanced technology and specialized equipment in neuro care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of two years of experience in a Neuro ICU or similar setting.
• Current RN license in the state or compact state.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
