Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes delegating and directing therapy services for assigned patients while ensuring the design of functional treatment programs for effective community reintegration. The therapist will also educate patients, families, students, and coworkers while adhering to the organization's mission and core values, particularly patient and employee safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and establish goals.
• Complete medical record documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in a student program, providing supervision and feedback.
• Engage in professional development and continuing education.
• Adhere to the State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the organization.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 2 years of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state license for practice.
