Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse for our Neuro ICU unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Critical Care setting, specifically caring for neuro patients. You will work with a high-acuity patient population and be responsible for delivering excellent nursing care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Neuro ICU environment with a focus on neuro conditions.
• Utilize advanced equipment, including cardiac monitors, ventilators, and continuous EEG.
• Perform critical nursing procedures such as intubations, central line placements, and EVD/LD placements.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1-year current ICU experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Experience with neuro patient populations is a significant advantage.
