Registered Nurse - Med-Surg Unit

Schedule

This role requires a full-time commitment with a shift from 7 AM to 7 PM. A total of 6 weekend shifts are required within a 6-week schedule period.

Job Description

Join our 14-bed medical-surgical unit, where dynamic and dedicated Registered Nurses provide exceptional patient care. You will work within a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5, ensuring quality support and attentiveness to each patient’s needs. Candidates must be willing to float to other med-surg units as required, and share in holiday coverage.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and health changes.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous experience in a med-surg setting is preferred.
