Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Days - 3 12-hour shifts (36 hours weekly), No guarantee of hours.

Job Description

Join a fast-paced and team-oriented environment in a 28-bed Emergency Room department that includes 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms. This role is ideal for a skilled ER RN looking to deliver high-quality patient care with fast patient turnover.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced ER setting.
• Utilize advanced assessment skills to evaluate patients efficiently.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Possession of a current license to practice as a professional nurse in the State of Hawaii is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Preferred certifications: Procedural Sedation, TMCC, and EMPC.
