Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will provide care for Cardiac ICU patients, as well as overflow from Medical ICU (MICU), Trauma ICU, and Neuro ICU, with a focus on cardiology. This role requires a strong background in critical care nursing and the ability to work flexible hours as needed by the unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes to the care team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding care and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience required.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required; TNCC preferred.
• Prior travel nursing experience is required; first-timers are not accepted.
• Experience in high-volume, high-acuity, teaching, and trauma facilities is preferred.
