Lead CT Tech

Schedule

This position requires availability on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and every other Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Job Description

The Lead CT Tech will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations within the CT department while ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CT technology, including advanced imaging techniques and patient care methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures and ensure high-quality images.
• Manage and lead the CT department team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Implement and monitor compliance with departmental protocols and safety regulations.
• Assist in patient preparation and ensure their comfort during procedures.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on equipment and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments, including Radiology, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in CT technology.
• Certifications required: ARRT-CT, ARRT-R, BLS, and an active Maryland or Compact license.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Experience with the Cerner charting system is required.
• Experience in community hospitals and LTAC settings is mandatory.
