Registered Nurse - Radiology Special Procedures

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Description

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Radiology Special Procedures. The RN will primarily provide IV sedation to patients undergoing radiological procedures. The role requires recent nursing experience in a relevant specialty, preferably within Radiology, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Emergency Room (ER), or Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

Responsibilities

• Provide IV sedation and monitor patient vitals during radiological procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
• Collaborate with radiology staff and medical professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• RN license required; experience in Radiology preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Holiday Expectations

The RN must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) as well as 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
